What We Do
R2R was founded by Marine Corps veteran Ethan Flickinger. After navigating through his own personal journey, it was time to give back.
Our Mission
Rifle to Reins (R2R)- was founded and established for assisting combat veterans restore themselves. This is cultivated through partnering the veteran with an un-started horse. This is not a new concept, but it is an effective one. The relationship and bond that forms between the two, builds discipline, self-control, calms the spirit, and restores the soul. This aids in their transition back to civilian life and helps calm the war still going on in the mind. 22 veterans commit suicide every day, that is one every 64 minutes. 22 is too many.
