Jeremy & Ghost

Jeremy is a 20 year Army Veteran with 12 years of that time served in Special Forces. Jeremy paired with his horse (Ghost) in early spring and spent the next 90 days starting his 2 year old colt. During this process, the two of them built a bond and it was self-described as his most looked forward too time a day.

R2R is blessed to have hosted Jeremy and truly grateful to our partners, donors, and his dedication to the process.

Josh (left) and Vivian (right) Weston are both Army Veterans. Josh retired after 20 years as a helicopter pilot and Vivian served in Interrogations. They are R2R’s 2025 program graduates. Josh is mounted on his new horse Takota (foundation Appaloosa) and Vivian is riding her new partner Penny (foundation Appaloosa). Both had an incredible season of learning and starting their new partners in life and teaching and mentoring a married couple was an awesome experience. We wish them the best for the future in the saddle!
